A final update

Dear reader,

It’s been three months since I last wrote to you and started my break. I promised to be back, and here I am – with a final update.

These three months have helped me come to a decision that I am both certain of and at peace with.

I am ending this newsletter and leaving Substack.

I don’t have a dramatic reason behind this decision. I just feel as if both my newsletter and Substack have run their course in my life.

I will still write. (I actually got a short story published recently on The Kalahari Review. You can check it out if you like.) I might also eventually decide to create a writer’s email list. If I do, I’ve exported this newsletter’s subscribers list and will reach out.

I will log off here, but I’ve decided against deleting my account. So you can access old posts whenever you like. I just won’t be publishing any new pieces. Thank you so much for being here and for reading my work.
